If gastroparesis: High prevalence of GI manifestations including severe chronic constipation , irritable bowel syndrome , acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease, and/or chronic abdominal pain . Gastroparesis , slow gastric emptying, is also seen. If this is present as well as reflux then medication has to be taken to speed up stomach. Gastroparesis is usually diagnosed by nuclear gastric emptying test.
