VTs and pregnancy : Its presence may indicate an underlying cardiac structural abnormality, or undiagnosed congenital arrhythmic disease. However, some pregnant patients with ventricular tachycardia have structurally normal hearts and the majority of VTs that occur during the pregnancy are benign, your doctor may want to get some tests done just to verify there is no underlying condition.
