Dark Spot: Without knowing the exact location of the "dark spot", the condition of the surrounding teeth, the periodontal status of those teeth, and your social habits like smoking, it is hard to say exactly what that lesion is. If it has been more than two weeks since it has appeared and it has not resolved, please see a local dentist for evaluation. No pain does not mean no treatment needed.
