Hi, i suffer from sensitive gums, so i try to make sure i stay away from sugary foods and drinks. 2 weeks back i ate popcorn, my upper back gum is swollen and in pain, left upper side of the mouth, i assume lodged between gum, one spot only hurts. ?

You may be right....: Something may be lodged in that area. It needs to be removed. If you can't do it you'll need to see your dentist.

Perhaps popcorn husk: Whatever the reason it needs treatment. While food impaction is the most probable answer, there are other possibilities. You say your gums are sensitive. Have you ever seen a gum specialist, a Periodontist? It may actually be root sensitivity, especially if sugar exacerbates problem. Please seek Dental examination now.
