Teeth pain: You could have a tooth abscess that would require an antibiotic to resolve.

Antibiotics will control spread of infection for as long as you take the pills. To CURE a dental abscess requires root canal treatment or extraction. Pills alone won't do it. Please see your Dentist.

Pain/swelling: Most commonly (but not always) tooth or gum/bone infection. Pills alone will not cure. Please see your Dentist for immediate intervention.
