Life's about balance: Too much sugar is bad. Aim for foods with less than 10 grams of sugar per serving. Occasionally eating more sugar, but then avoiding sugar the rest of the day, may be ok because things balance out at the end of the day (normal people can do this, but pre-diabetics and diabetics should not do this... because they will get a high blood sugar after eating a big glob of sugar or of carbohydrates).
