It depends.: I would aim for around 1500-1600 calories for weight loss, though it depends on how active you are. While cutting out sugars and starches can be helpful there are other high calorie foods. I recommend finding an online calorie tracker (there are many apps for apple and android (methyltestosterone) phones) that also allows you to account for exercise. It's easy to underestimate how many calories you consume.
