A member asked:

How do i overcome the guilt after eating a meal high in carbohydrates after being on a low carb eating regime and how do i manage my cravings?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Having excessive emotional attachments to food may cause unnecessary guilt. You may need to eat more carbs if you are underweight or engage in moderate to heavy exercise on a regular basis. Consult with your doctor for any medical issues and to assess your wgt and BMI. If you suffer from eating disorders, see a therapist. Eating healthy small portions through the day may help reduce cravings.
