Doctor can evaluate: With a person in her 70's having unintentional weight loss, her doctor may have completed an evaluation by now, since the weight loss started 5 months ago. People don't lose weight for no reason, so evaluation is important. Many disorders can cause weight loss, and cancer is one of them. So, a patient's question would be what has the doctor ruled out, and what is the doctor's working diagnosis?
