Specialist: Artifact from motion may cause distortions of the tracing that simulate nonsustained ventricular tachycardia. An expert in interpretation of heart rhythm tracings is usually able to differentiate artifact from true ventricular dysrhythmia. If there's any doubt, the study should be repeated.

NSVT on two week holter monitor. The most being 5beats at 254 bpm. PVCs 3/day average Pace 1/day average. Recent echo revealed normal left and right ventricles. Stress test normal response to excercize with no st changes. Should I worry about nsvt?
Is nsvt serious? My pulse used to race a lot and on the holter monitor an arrhythmia showed up. I'm on 10 mg bid propranolol and still have palps.

Is nsvt supposed to fluctuate so much? I had a couple very brief episodes on my 14 day monitor. Echo is normal. Cardiologist says it's benign. But the monitor said my heartrate went as high as 285 in vtach? Could it be inaccurate? Quite scary..?
On my holtor monitor i had a run of non sustained vtach of 6 beats. dr doesn't seem concerned. normal echo and treadmill test. could nsvt cause cardiac arrest or turn into vtach?
