Specialist: Artifact from motion may cause distortions of the tracing that simulate nonsustained ventricular tachycardia. An expert in interpretation of heart rhythm tracings is usually able to differentiate artifact from true ventricular dysrhythmia. If there's any doubt, the study should be repeated.
