Is nsvt supposed to fluctuate so much? i had a couple very brief episodes on my 14 day monitor. echo is normal. cardiologist says it's benign. but the monitor said my heartrate went as high as 285 in vtach? could it be inaccurate? quite scary..?

A rate of 285 is an exaggeration as not enough beats of ventricular complexes were present for a realistic beats per minute rate. I'm sure your cardiologist ruled out prolonged QT syndrome,hereditary causes,structural heart disease,PVCs more than 20% of your total daily heart beats,multiform or bizarre PVC morphology,increased PVCs with exercise,family history of sudden death.?see electrophsiologi
