Perhaps: But there are more effective antibiotics. It's never good to take "left-over" antibiotics as may be wrong spectrum, wrong dose, wrong length of time. Please return to the Dentist or Oral Surgeon that removed your tooth for reexamination and proper treatment, which may or may not include antibiotic therapy.
