In what way?: In what way is she "not recovered" for her abscess? Are you referring to pain? Swelling? Fever? Bleeding?
How long has she been on antibiotics and which ones? When were the teeth taken out?
It takes time for antibiotics to work, for resolution of pain, swelling and bleeding.
You should call the dentist who treated her to answer your questions.

Needs and x-ray: An abscess can either be from the nerve or the gums or both. Go back to the dentist who did the work. It is impossible to give you more information without more data.

Seek second opinion: That is a very good question. If you haven't already, ask her dentist. If the answer is not satisfactory, seek a second opinion. If you live in an area with a dental school, consider taking her there for evaluation.
