My son daniel has an ear infection. he has had grommets inserted into his ears so the discharge is coming out of his right ear only.

Grommet working: When you have an ear infection you get fluid behind the ear and blockage/congestion. The grommet will create and opening so will have a discharge when gets an ear infection but will help stop persistent fluid (effusion) which causes the longterm problems in the first place. May be worth seeing your GP to have the ear examined if not already and arrange treatment if needed.
