Depends: If by grommets you mean ear lobe gauges, no it won't help. If by grommets you mean permanent type pressure equalization tubes, it often helps. To know if this is going to be helpful for you, consult with an ear nose and throat surgeon.

Potentially: PE tubes can be beneficial for middle ear infections that are recurrent. Would discuss with an Ear Nose Throat surgeon to find out if they are medically indicated for you.
