No alcohol forever!: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

When doing a colonoscopy, then sending the polyps for a biopsy. Would they let you know if the polyps were fap, or in other words that the patient has fap?
When polyps are found during colonoscopy that are 2-3 CM in size why would a doctor leave them instead of taking a biopsy?
My 69 year old mom had a colonoscopy. Dr removed 2polyps but did not send them for biopsy. He recommended 3yrs instead of 5 to repeat colonoscopy. Can he determine if its adenomas just by looking at polyps? Thanks ?
