Chronic diarrhea.: Sounds like the colonoscopy was needed to explain your symptoms. The polyp is very likely benign and was an incidental finding. It is not causing your symptoms. In the absence of any other significant finding on studies or colonoscopy, you probably have diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome.
