50 y/o male. never overweight. very healthy. eat organic. never smoked. light drinker. no first degree relatives w/ colon cancer. moms dad had it but was caught early. had colonoscopy. all clear until ascending, 1 polyp, 11mm. await biopsy. ?

Doing right: You are doing it right by getting a colonoscoply at 50. The poly is likely to be benign. However, since you have a polyp, talk to your GI about repeating the colonoscopy by not later than 5 years. Wish you good health!
