When doing a colonoscopy, then sending the polyps for a biopsy. would they let you know if the polyps were fap, or in other words that the patient has fap?

People with FAP should be tested every 1-2 years starting at age 10-12. Those individuals with AFAP should undergo colonoscopy beginning at age 18-20. The patient is always told of their condition. Yearly colonoscopy is done, than surgery if planned.
