Possible allergies: If every time your son mows the grass and he gets a rash then an environmental allergy is possible. Other things to consider would be a contact dermatitis due to possible exposure to poison ivy or poison oak. Your child may need both an oral treatment like Benadryl and something topical like a moderate potency steroid. Testing for outdoor allergens may help guide you in symptom prevention.
