Foot problem: I would highly recommend you to see your primary care physician if, this has been going on for awhile. If, this was something acute, have someone take you to the nearest emergency room or urgent care to be evaluated and treated! In The meantime, you can take some ibuprofen for pain. Need more detailed history to be able to help,

What is the best way to treat an ankle sprain? I am experiencing ankle pain, soft tissue swelling, ankle stiffness, ankle swelling, difficulty walking, unable to bend foot down, ankle weakness, and unable to bear weight.
Pain & mild swelling in shin x 3 days. Began over a 2hr period. Moves down to a top of ankle and top of foot. Sitting down, ankle hurts most. Standing, shin hurts most. Leg and foot sore to touch. Hurts to flex/point ankle. Feels better in A.M. ?
