A member asked:

What other diseases can give the same symptoms as systemic myasthenia gravis when antibodies against the acetylcholine receptor are negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anti-titin: There is a second type of antibody that is a perfect mimic. Eaton-Lambert antibodies are worth checking if you smoke. You may also be weak for other reasons, of if life's difficult, that itself can make you floppy and feel like you are getting MG.
