Diagnosis: The pathophysiologic mechanism of myasthenia gravis is antibodies and thymus-derived lymphcytes directed against post-synaptic acetylcholine receptors at neuromuscular junction. If the Mayo Clinic confirmed no antibodies then MG in question. Differential would include the following: Thyroid ophthalmopathy, oculophryngeal muscular dystrophy, Wernicke's, Cavernous sinus mass, drug,Eaton-Lambert

Diagnosed with M.G. by hosp. specialist by symptoms and Tensilon. Neg. EMG and bloods. Responded to Mestinon (pyridostigmine) and Prednisone. Can't get treatment.
My symptoms match myasthenia gravis. I have achr modulating antibodies that are borderline negative and I have had positive striational antibodies. My university neuro doesnt believe in single fiber emg. Should I redo the achr modulating test?
Achr antibody was low positive (5) first time and negative second time. Neurologist ordered single fibre EMG and thymus MRI as right eye droops. If both normal- is myasthenia possible? What else could cause of false positive result? (VGCC negative)?
Cold feet and lower legs only, EMG was good, all other tests good, IF, Free chain good. Neuropathy. DX with GM 1 Antibody IGM . Does anyone have a clue to treatments, mobility issues going forward, anything to keep me sane? Thank you
