Ach receptor: Mg is a condition in which the body makes antibodies to the muscle receptor for acetyl choline which is the neurotransmitter chemical involved in the transmission of nerve impulses to muscle contraction. These antibodies prevent efficient nerve transmission to muscle and result in weakness and easy fatigue of muscles.

Receptor: In patients with myasthenia, the acetylcholine receptor that helps form the neuromuscular junction is destroyed by the immune system. This causes nerves to be unable to trigger muscle contraction, leading to fatigable weakness.
