Have cirrhosis of liver. after an ultrasound to monitor for cancer, it showed a 1 cm hypoechoic nodule in left hepatic lobe. should worry about cancer?

The ultrasound: Appearance is not specific. It may be benign, but malignancy is a possibility. You will probably need CT and/or MRI for further evaluation of the nodule. Needle biopsy may be needed depending on the results.
