I got my test results back from a neck ultrasound. within the anterior upper aspect of the right lobe is a solid hypoechoic nodule without calcifications which measures 1.0 x 0.5 x 0.9 cm, tr 4. is this something to worry about?

This is the guideline for TR4 thyroid nodule: "for TR4 nodules, the guidelines recommend fine-needle aspiration if the nodule is 1.5cm or larger, and follow-ups if larger than 1cm". Because the size of your thyroid TR4 nodule is at gray zone, i.e. 1 cm, not more or less, so think a repeat US should be considered in 6 months. If there is no change then you are safe. Good luck.
