A member asked:

Can you have pancreatitis with perfect blood tests?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Ed Friedlander answered

Amylase: Yes. "Chronic pancreatitis", a nasty pain syndrome from scarring, does not affect labs. Amylase itself often falls to normal as acute pancreatitis begins to heal.
