It is possible to have resolving pancreatitis because amylase would go down before lipase. It is also possible that what you think is symptom of acid reflux may actually be coming from the pancreas and possibly subacute or chronic pancreatitis. Acid reflux disease does not usually cause elevated enzymes.

Reflux generally doesn’t cause any increase in amylase or lipase. Because the amylase was normal, the most likely scenario here is that the elevated lipase does not represent pancreatitis. Usually both would be elevated, and much more than these slight elevations. If the pain becomes severe, return to the emergency room. Good luck.
