How long after an acute pancreatitis attack do i have to get blood tests done to confirm? pain not as bad after 1 week, will levels be elevated still?

Multiple factors: are involved. The severity of the attack, symptoms improvement, cause of the pancreatitis such as gallstones, alcohol , medication? So it depends on these variables.

Suspected for acute pancreatitis in March 2022 and the lipase levels returned to Normal in 30 hours. I met various specialists and blood tests and US normal. Gastro said to forget about pancreatitis, but I have persistent pains and sometimes diarrhea?
Can you have pancreatitis with normal blood test levels? Or will lipase and amylase be elevated? How would it be diagnosed?
Blood test showed lipase levels slightly elevated. All else normal. What could cause the elevated result? Was told its not enough to indicate pancreatitis. Had blood in stool a month ago and ongoing left and right side abdominal/chest/back pain?
