Pancreatitis: the answer depends on the cause(s)=if you drink alcohol then stop all drinking. Finding out you triglycerides levels would be of help. If you are diabetic or have certain diseases that might contribute. I would see a gastroenterologist or whomever ordered the blood work.

Pancreatitis. : What is the mechanism of your pancreatitis? And is it acute or chronic? Improvement and long-term stability would depend on the mechanism involved. If it's alcohol, then stop drinking. If it's gallstones, then have the gallbladder removed.

Plan: You can change it within 24 hours with starvation. Old and effective modern treatment of pancreatitis, that changes the amylase numbers pretty fast, is starvation with a lot of fluid. You can eat toasts and drink water. Your number is not scary, and will be good after 24 hours. Then slowly introduce not fatty food and NO alcohol.
