BMI inaccuracies: One of the major failings of BMI measurement is that it does not take into account that athletes have higher muscle mass. The weight of a square inch of muscle is more than fat. Fat tissue is what puts you at higher health risk. Measurement of waist hip ratio, arm caliper, neck circumference, bio impedance, or anything that estimates total body fat would give other means of risk estimation.
