is losing weight safe during pregnancy if you're already overweight (bmi=30)? i had already started a healthy/balanced eating plan and exercise.

In the case: mention losing weight during the early part of pregnancy is not only safe but is TO BE DESIRED. Careful observation by your OB-GYN and I would suggest a qualified NUTRITIONIST is a good idea! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
