Specializes in Internal Medicine

More likely: A bariatric specialist. As while there are hormonal issues that can contribute to weight gain - really hypothyroidism - you don't have to see an endocrinologist for this, your primary care doctor can help determine if you have any thyroid problems that require specialist care. Otherwise, you need to see someone with extensive experience creating multidisciplinary plans for weight management.
