A member asked:

Ct scan - it says left-sided parapelvic cyst and it also says prominent mesenteric and retroperitoneal lymphadenopathy. what does this mean for me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The parapelvic: Renal cyst is of no significance. The lymphadenopathy is concerning and can occur in a number of cancers (metastases/lymphoma) but can also occur in the setting of infection and autoimmune disorders. Your doctor can tell you how the lymphadenopathy is going to be evaluated.
