I have bulging veins only in left hand. not right. wats that mean?

Bulging veins in left hand.: Seems that you have venous drainage obstruction. Any history of injury?, unusual position for long time, such as with computers, etc. You need a Dr. have a good examination, venous ultrasound/Doppler, or even better, have a contrast venogram and asses at what level is the occlusion, a non functional valve, or other condition. Swollen hand veins.: Hand veins can swell for many reasons but the most common is certainly hereditary . Other factors would be level of hydration, aging, sun exposure and loss of elasticity. Actually, I am amazed at the amount of patients that i see with bulging hand veins. They can be easily treated with laser or sclerotherapy and usually a combination of both.
