A member asked:

What is the likelihood of missing h-pylori on various tests 2-3 times? for the breath test i didn't use ppis or h2 blockers for 1 week prior.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tests for H. Pylori.: Granted, some tests are more accurate and reliable than others, but most tests repeated three times should have sufficient accuracy to give us confidence in a negative result. That being said, the EGD with biopsy would likely be the most definitive.
