Prob hemorrhoids: If you're not having any pain in your anus, it probably was a hemorrhoid that got irritated when you strained to have your bowel movement. An anal fissure can also bleed but hurts (like a paper cut down there!) If you've had hard stool, you should increase your fiber and water intake to keep your stools softer. A laxative may help if you don't get relief with the increased dietary fiber.
