Unfortunately, yes: Tendinitis around the shoulder joint can be a prolonged problem...the anatomy is complex and many structures are inter-related, and it is a difficult joint to rest as we use our arms so much! Follow rest and gentle exercise recommendations as well as you can. If physical therapy or medication has been recommended, comply with instructions.
