In april, i started getting pain from the bottom of my neck down to my left shoulder &arm. ive been for physio and an x-ray which said i had superspinatus tendon.i took anti inflam for a few days but the pain hasn't stopped. should i see a specialist?

It's now: SEPTEMBER and you should definitely seek a second opinion. Just a thought but your NECK may be the "culprit" A pinched nerve between the 6th and 7th CERVICAL VERTEBRAE may be causing your pain..NOT your shoulder! Hope this is helpful! DR Z
