Variable: Your question really brings up three seperate issues. Sore muscles can result from a variety of problems, but typically appropriate rest, stretching and progressive activity. Second, frozen shoulder is a joint capsular problem that can be treated first by rest, nsaids and avoidance of provactive activity, the physical therapy. Finally, inflammed tendon, treat like sore muscle.

Many Possibilities: Prolotherapy typically by itself will cause ligaments to tighten up, usually due to scarring or fibrosis of the ligaments.
