Check to make certain it was read by a real person and not the machine, Assuming the put the EKG leads on correctly and you were not ill from anything and have no family history of early heart disease (women before age 60) and your history, physical exam and labs were normal just check with your GP as the ER likely suggested.

Such visits have to be followed up on the office with your primary care doc so that abnormal findings in tests can be further clarified. In ER life threatening conditions are ruled out, but many times no diagnosis is made and this is where proper follow up is critical in filling the gap. Many times such changes are never confirmed with proper technique/interpretation.
