Dry nasal crusting: Greetings. Fancy words for "boogers". These episodes happen from xcessive dryness. Saline nasal spray and AYR gel may be the answer. Sleep with a humidifier and drink more water. If these suggestions fail to resolve the issues, see your ENT. An antibiotic covering Staph may be needed.
