I am 25 male with a tricky ent history. postnasal drip, left ear congestion since childhood (temporary relief few minutes after nasal sprays), deviated septum and chronic pharyngoamygdalis. any ideas on potential causes and treatments ?

Have fluid behind ears causing congestion. Prescribed Flonase nasal spray. Would Zyrtec make the pressure/fluid worse? Didn't think to ask my doctor.

Will using Afrin before a steroid or other medication nose spray increase the effectiveness of the other spray? I do know to double check interactions and never use Afrin for more than 3 days (rebound congestion, septum damage, etc). Thanks!?
