Will using afrin before a steroid or other medication nose spray increase the effectiveness of the other spray? i do know to double check interactions and never use afrin for more than 3 days (rebound congestion, septum damage, etc). thanks!?

I do not think so. Alfrin causes vasoconstriction so any medication used after Alfrin should be less effective because vasoconstriction limits other medication's absorption.
