SVT: When you say SVT-there are several ones (for example, AVnRT, AVRT, atrial tachycardia etc). Depending on which type, these may spontaneously abort and in some cases recur. First line treatment is medical therapy as in your case. If you continue to have symptoms despite optimal medical therapy, an electrophysiologic study and ablation of an abnormal electrical pathway may help.

Yes: Propranolol may be even better. Is this a trial or you just wonder about increasing the dose. If prescribed otherwise please let your prescriber know.
