What will slow my heart rate down? i take metoprolol 50mg 2x day. it lowers my blood pressure but my heart rate is still 120 - 130. bp is 107 / 70

Tachycardia: Has an EKG been done to identify the type of tachycardia you're experiencing? It's important to check for rhythms like SVT, a fib, atrial flutter as betablockers alone may not be effective. If it's simple sinus tachycardia, overactive thyroid must be looked for. A cardiologist should be involved in your care.
