Heart rate: Beta blockers are the only safe drugs to reduce your pulse rate but unfortunately they reduce your BP. Try and take the lowest dose possible

Beta blockers: If you aren't having any symptoms with your heart rate and blood pressure, you needn't worry about it. As you mention postural hypotension in your condition list, you should discuss the situation with your doctor
