Tendon injury: A sprain is an injury to the tendon of variable degree. If you have that much instability of the ankle then more than likely you have a significant ligament tear and an MRI would be indicated. See a foot and ankle specialist.

I rolled my ankle today, and looking at foot anatomy its where my cuboid bone would be. I have swelling in that area. My ankle feels fine but more of my foot. Hours later I can barely walk on it. Ever soon sprain. Herd slight pop noise?
