Vaginal pain: You need to elaborate on what is the autoimmune disease as there is a wide spectrum of autoimmune disease. Secondly you must see a gynecologist for ovarian cysts and vaginal pain. When was the last pelvic exam and papsmear? Follow up with gynecologist is the key to find resolution to your vaginal pain.

Ovarian cyst: Every woman develops ovarian cyst when an egg is released from the ovary each month. They become a problem when a woman has irregular ovulation. These recurring ovarian cysts can be better controlled using birth control that contains both estrogen and progesterone. Your vaginal pain may have a different cause and you should don't consider a formal consult with a gynecologist.
