Make sure you are not pregnant. In I’d 40,s many woman start to skip ovulation leading to irregular periods. yes - “ perimenopause”. Age of menopause can be genetic and related to lifestyle. From now on it can take another 8-10 years to reach menopause (12 months no menses).Continue healthy lifestyle, healthy nutrition - rich in calcium, take Vitamin D. Annual physical exams.
